Zama Institute Yoga Teacher Training courses remain true to yoga in its traditional form, while offering insight into modern practice. You will learn hatha yoga asana, which will provide you with the foundation to teach most modern, popular styles of yoga. This will give you the best advantage when attracting students to your teachings, and help you to gain employment. You will be equipped with a Western scientific understanding of yoga, while experiencing a deep understanding of the spiritual dimensions of the practice. We offer three yoga teacher training pathways and a specialist yin yoga program. Here's how to choose.

200hr Yoga Teacher Training The industry entry point. 200 hours is the minimum qualification required to obtain insurance and teach yoga professionally worldwide. This course covers yoga philosophy, anatomy and physiology, asana, pranayama, meditation, teaching methodology, and sequencing across hatha, yin, kundalini, restorative, and vinyasa styles. 350hr Yoga Teacher Training The full professional qualification. 350 hours is required for full Yoga Australia membership — the standard most studios and corporate wellness employers look for when hiring. 60hr Yin Yoga Teacher Training A specialist qualification in yin yoga. Suitable as a standalone certification for existing yoga teachers looking to add yin to their teaching repertoire, or as a complement to the 200hr or 350hr programs.
