In this three hour session led by Yoga Therapist and Teacher, Nicole Loxley, you will be immersed entirely in your body, learning to listen and sense what your body needs and when, understanding the way you move and how to relieve pain in your body. Using hatha and yin yoga practices, this workshop will help you keep your body healthy, happy and open. Immerse yourself in your practice and find the flow within the quietude of the body - for it is when we are silent that your body can do its best work.

Yoga is a powerful tool against stress, anxiety, auto-immune conditions and sleep disorders. During this retreat, you will be guided by Yoga Therapist and Teacher, Nicole Loxley, through restorative yoga and yoga nidra techniques to find a shift in your state of consciousness and embrace silence. This session will work to establish parasympathetic dominance in the nervous system of the body, explain how these changes occur and how you can achieve internal balance. Let yourself drift to a dream state with the beautiful practice of yoga nidra (yogic sleep), which allows the brain to 'power down' without fully falling asleep and releases serotonin, the mood-regulating hormone that lessens anxiety and invites calmness. 
 
 
 
These workshops are included in the YIMI Toowoomba 2018 intake. YIMI students NOT enrolled in the YIMI Toowoomba April 2018 intake can use class hours allocation towards these workshops. These workshops are suitable as continuing education for yoga teachers. CPD points available.
