Winter Solstice & International Yoga Day 2016
Mark the 21st June on your calendars, because that date is both the Winter Solstice and International Yoga Day!
We’re starting to feel the Winter chill in the air, and the Winter Solstice will signify the shortest day and longest night of the year – this is the central point to when we embrace the darkness and look forward to the growing of the light.
On International Yoga Day, all over the world, yogis will be joining in special meditations and Solstice practices to celebrate and share their love of yoga in unison!
Here at Zama, we’re combining the two for a special day of classes. All of our normal classes will be running on Tuesday 21 June 2016 and each class will feature practices to honour International Yoga Day and the Winter Solstice.
We can’t wait to see you then!
