Monday 21st December 2015
The Summer Solstice, the point in the celestial calendar when the days are at their longest and the nights are at their shortest, is the doorway to the second half of the year. It is a time when we celebrate the height of Summer, while re-aligning and opening ourselves to the possibilities of the seasons to come.
The Summer Solstice is an ideal time to pause, and find stillness (the word solstice actually directly translates to “sun standing still”), so we will be practicing a special Summer Solstice meditation during classes on Monday 21st December, to honour the sun and the beautiful season that is Summer. And, of course, plenty of sun salutations!
Here at Zama, our Monday hot vinyasas will be dedicated to the Summer Solstice, so please join us in this re-aligning, seasonal practice:
- 6am hot vinyasa
- 9:30am hot vinyasa
- 5:20pm hot vinyasa
- 5:30pm hot vinyasa
Normal class prices apply. No bookings required.
