HIGH INTENSITY YOGA BRISBANEH.I.Y. SESH by Zama classes are a unique blend of powerful yoga, kundalini, tantra, isometrics, plyometrics, calisthenics and free form movement.

Think of HIIT workouts, with short bursts of high-energy movements that get your heart pumping and muscles burning. We’ll do everything from the classic burpee, to intense movements of our own creations, such as the primal plank.

Now, combine these high-intensity movements with powerful yoga postures. These help open the body, relieve tension, tone, and strengthen. You’ll open your heart to new possibilities, and let go of negative thoughts that could be weighing you down.

Through the practice of yoga, you will draw your attention back to the breath. The breath grounds us in the present moment. Its steady rhythm is ever-present, and in times of stress and discomfort, we can use the breath to work through, to overcome.

You’ll also experience the wonderful – and at times a little strange – world of kundalini yoga and tantric breathing practices. These meditative exercises with help you drop right into your body in the present moment.
