Join us for this three hour retreat and together we will switch to pause and learn to find and embrace stillness and mindfulness using meditation in our daily lives, and then settle into some yogic sleep, that lowers the state of consciousness to hover in a place that is just between waking and sleeping.Let yourself drift to a dream state with the beautiful practice of yoga nidra (yogic sleep), which allows the brain to 'power down' without fully falling asleep and releases serotonin, the mood-regulating hormone that lessens anxiety and invites calmness. During yoga nidra, the body is totally and completely relaxed, which calms the nervous system which aids the relieving of stress in the body and mind.
