Restorative yoga is a magnificent and empowering therapeutic tool. Restorative yoga bridges the gap between a strong yoga class and a seated meditation class, making it incredibly accessible to many people, including those with injuries or chronic health conditions. The mind-body connection is intricately enhanced through restorative yoga and it enables all yoga practitioners to have a deep understanding and first hand experience of psychosomatic medicine and the healing process.

Yoga Nidra is such effective technique, not only for physical or mental relaxation but also for preparing the mind for the higher yogic disciplines. Yoga Nidra literally means Yogic Sleep, and it is a state of conscious deep sleep, a dynamic sleep that takes place between the awakened state and the sleep state.

This course is made up of two modules. The Restorative Yoga module is scheduled Saturday 18th & Sunday 19th July at Zama Yoga Toowong. The Yoga Nidra module is scheduled for Friday 9th & Saturday 10th October at Zama Yoga Toowong.

Prerequisites & Course Registration

There are no prerequisites for this course. Any one can take this course.

This course attracts CPD points with Yoga Australia and other governing bodies. If you complete non-contact requirements, you will be issued with a 40hr certificate. If you only attend the contact hours, you will be issued with a 24hr certificate.

Upon completion of this course, you can undertake a range of courses with Zama Institute to upgrade your qualification.
