Pregnancy is a special and uniquely amazing time in a woman's life - but let's face it, the body is doing all sorts of crazy things, right? You're tired, and your usual routines are interrupted by haphazard cravings - not to worry, yoga is here for you! Not only does Zama's pre-natal yoga prepare the body for the birthing experience - both mentally and physically - it also helps the body recover and build and regain strength. We'll give you all the tools you need to maintain your clarity and calm, including breathing exercises and specific postures. Embrace this beautiful time and let yoga connect you to your body, your baby and your self.
Yoga can help you prepare for and recover from birth and connect with your baby while helping you cope emotionally, spiritually and physically with the changes going on in your body. Yoga can also help with some of the discomfort some women experience during and after pregnancy, such as:

-back pain
-fluid retention
-breathing difficulty
-loss of abdominal and pelvic floor strength

Please wear comfortable clothing, which can either be loose fitting, or something similar to exercise clothing. No footwear is required. See you at the studio!
