The practice of meditation has so many benefits for your health and wellbeing. Meditation assists with becoming in tune to the body, connection to the breath and encourages the stillness of the mind. Meditation stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system, helping to counter the effects of stress and a busy mind. Meditation can also boost your immune system and aids in the healing process of the body, lowers blood pressure and helps you stay emotionally balanced.
This workshop will offer you a number of different approaches and techniques to be able to practice meditation, and help you discover a style that suits you and your life. Here at Zama, we enjoy exploring a number of different traditions and take a simple approach to the practice of meditation – our aim is solely to help you find a place of peace.
