Relaxing your body and muscles is a great way to release tension and stress.
Tension can come in all forms, and if you are working, sitting at a desk, or have daily stresses, asana will help to restore your muscles to a more relaxed state. When combined with massage techniques to deepen the effects of the asana, your entire body will start to feel more relaxed and the tension will flow away. You will feel like you’ve just had a massage!
Your teacher, Sally, is a qualified Remedial Massage Therapist, Reiki Practitioner, Yoga Teacher, Yoga Therapist & Yoga consultant and combines her knowledge of these modalities to show you using massage techniques in yoga can deepen your healing.
