As Christmas approaches – before getting wrapped up (pardon the pun) in the festive craziness of gift-giving and non-stop eating – it’s important to think about those less fortunate, who struggle to put food on the table every night.
Zama Yoga has once again teamed up with Foodbank to run a Christmas food drive. Please bring cans and non-perishables in to the studio (might be a good time to give the pantry a clean out!) and help us spread the love and good cheer this holiday season to ensure no one goes hungry on Christmas.
Foodbank suggests donating cans of soup, meat, spaghetti and vegetables, jams and spreads, cereals, tea, pasta, rice and any long-life products. Every year 400,000 Queenslanders live in food insecurity, and half of those individuals are children. Foodbank works at a local level, providing food directly to those in need.
Thank you – your generosity means a lot!
