Renee Loxley completed her Yoga Teacher Training through YIMI in 2013 and is incredibly grateful to be able to share her love of yoga as her job! She has been practicing yoga for over 10 years after some time realised that it was the only physical activity that she had ever actually stuck to and that it was the benefits for the mind that really allowed her to commit to her yoga practice. She found herself going back for the calm, the stillness and for the sense of gratitude, acceptance and compassion that yoga evoked for her.

Renee graduated from a Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery at the University of Queensland in 2017 and is currently practising at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital. She strives to be a doctor who incorporates yoga, holistic medicine and mindfulness into her Western Medicine practice. Her background in medical sciences means that she specialises in teaching anatomy and physiology content to yoga teacher trainers.
