do the double at zama this month – toowong brisbane may 2015

tumblr_ltxw53xwl01r4txqqo1_500Starting from Tuesday 5th May, double your yoga dose at Zama Toowong this month with our special back-to-back feature classes!

Two of our evening classes on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays for the month of May will be taken by the same teacher and will complement each other when practiced together. Each class will still follow the format of it’s own yoga practice (beginning with breath-work and ending with a savasana relaxation), but the two classes will be themed and complete one another, to support you extending and deepening your practice.

 

Monday (11th, 18th & 25th May 2015)

5:20pm hot vinyasa & 6:30pm hot power with Shani
Extend and expand: These classes will focus on deepening your yoga practice, using the full two hours to reach your yogi potential! Each week Shani will choose a new theme for the Monday double that will strengthen and nourish your yoga journey. 

Tuesday (5th, 12th, 19th & 26th May 2015)
6:30pm hot vinyasa & 7:40pm yin yoga with Renee
Yang then Yin: Strengthen then stretch in this extended vinyin class by warming up the body to find its full stretching potential as you release in yin. Each week, Renee will focus on opening a different area of the body in this balanced practice.  

Wednesday (6th, 13th, 20th & 27th May 2015)
6:30pm hot power & 7:40pm hot vinyasa with Shani
Introduction to Ashtanga: The first hour will focus on standing postures of the Ashtanga primary series, and the second hour will round out the practice with sitting postures and the closing sequence. Strengthen your core with Shani as you learn about the invigorating practice that is Ashtanga yoga! 

Thursday (7th, 14th, 21st & 28th May 2015)
5:20pm hot power & 6:30pm hot vinyasa with Sarah
Strengthen and open: In the first hour with Sarah, you will focus on chest strengthening, in preparation for arm balances, and then the second hour will follow by stretching out the chest as you open the heart and prepare for backbending postures, building upper back strength and flexibility. 

 

You will still need to sign in for each class separately, or sign in for both when you first arrive at the studio.
